How could I not name my Dark Urge bard Dirge?

bing.com/create

I actually got 3 truly great images of Dirge but this was closest to my description.

I'm kinda in the same boat. I'm doing a second playground with a human Bard Dark Urge, named Dirge of course, and I'm having trouble going full evil. I'm picking every Bard and Dark Urge text when I'm given those options but I'm not going out of my way to be evil yet.

I was a little nervous about going in to this fight expecting to face Raphael and the big demon guy. But then the fight starts and there is a room full of cambions. And the music, I had to just sit there in the opening round and listen for a bit. I was thinking I’m screwed.

It did take me a few attempts and Raphael actually killed the big demon guy for me with one of his giant fireballs. Poor guy had just poisoned me and gone invisible.

And now I learn that you can cast Otto’s Irresistible Dance on Raphael and make him dance and sing to his own boss theme.

Pretty much same for me. My half-orc barbarian hit it off from the start with her. As I'm new to this whole dnd world, I don't know shit about any of these cultures or religions. Nearly everyone you meet is a zealot or has some major character flaw. My guy is all about that half-orc smash! In as many ways as possible. I'm just in the start of Act 2 but Lae'zel has my loyalty.

The auto industry lobbied to kill public transportation back in the day to sell more cars. For a recent example see Ellen Musk and the Hyper Loop.

Yeah I definitely agree about dropping you in to a lived in world with it’s own culture, slang, and colloquialisms. I ended up loving it and the next two in the series. It was kind of amazing seeing so many cyberpunk themes originating in one text. At the same time seeing how you could say that Neuromancer was set in the same world as Blade Runner, almost like a fan fic, just in a different part of the world.

Have you tried Neuromancer by William Gibson?

Nothing like a nice cup of hot milk to start the day, jk. It looks good, I never can do latte art correctly.

I’m partial to a cappuccino every once in a while but my diet keeps me to straight espresso most days.

Well I started playing SF6 with the standard Xbox controller, using Modern control scheme. I liked it but I’ve always wanted to get good with the Classic control scheme. I didn’t even know Hitbox was a thing. I started looking for a standard fight stick to use on the Xbox, was looking at the 8BitDo stick, and stumbled across the Hitbox. Then I went down the rabbit hole of diy enclosures and decided to go that route. So at least I’d have something nice to look at which I put together myself.

I like that setup. I’ve been thinking about adjusting my controls in game to move Drive Impact and Parry to the inside buttons and just shifting my right hand out a little. One thing that is going to take me a little while to get used to is how sensitive these Sanwa buttons are. Resting my fingers on the buttons are causing inputs to register. Even pressing the side of the button lightly is causing an input.

Definitely the smart way to go about it. For me, I’m playing on Xbox using the standard controller and the Modern controls are great but I really wanted to learn Classic.

I've seen some people suggest trying on a keyboard before investing in a stickless layout but I jumped in head first.

Eternalrival.com has a lot of options for making your own enclosure, traditional and all kinds of stickless. You could probably put together a diy controller for less than the Hitbox but if you spring for an upgraded enclosure or a universal fightboard then you'll probably end up spending a little more.

But, you do end up with a nice piece of personalized kit and putting it together yourself is half the fun.

I went through Arcadeshock.com for all the electronics and buttons.

I just got my Eternal Rival S Rank enclosure and I’m really pleased with it. Now just to hit the training room.

I thought I would keep using old.reddit after they killed RiF but I’ve abandoned the platform all together. Finally got my lemmy account and I’m not going back. Google still shows me Reddit when I search for just about anything but I’m actively avoiding them.
