Hey man, I'm sorry for your loss.

Things happening to us or near us are real eye opening to new perspectives.

Hey, I got back into the game, after trying it out when it was released.

The no progression system, reminds me of old games where people just had fun, no grinding, and that was okay.

From that perspective the game seems pretty simple, but it seems very well made and with a pretty good variety of things to do.

I like the part that all players are "equal" since they have access to the same items from the start, but I also wondered what now? Since the gold is only used for vanity, then we started focusing on having fun and not only grinding to get more gold, this opened the doors for us to sometimes just get a ship and sail away, often stopping by a random islando and exploring it and finding cool stuf. Or maybe we find other player ships and get ass raped by more knowledgeable players and watch all they tricks that we try to reproduce in our next encounters.

The game allows for many different styles of playing, you can go and find treasures, fight skeletons and skeleton ships, go for the tall tales and their puzzles, join the reapers and be rewarded for PVP, tracking down sea monsters and defeating them, joining map events and cooperate/retaliate other players and the environment, you can also go competitive by trying to rank up the leaderboards, there's something for everyone.

We still have many things to try in this game, and the fact that there is no "grind" makes it more appealing to taking the game easy and not fretting over time spent and rushing to the top of the hill.

But at first it is kinda weird getting that: gold serves no real purpose and we have access to everything from the start, what now? Well, just enjoy the adventure! YARR!

Before anyone says it, no, they wouldn’t deploy this tech if you or I were the victim

That is one way to gather more control (divide and conquer), and once they have it, they will use it more often and on those that are against them:

  • First they go after those the threw rocks - Fine by me, I wasn't throwing rocks.
  • Then they go after those who held rocks - Fine by me, I wasn't holding rocks.
  • Then they go after those who wore masks - Fine by me, I wasn't wearing no masks.
  • Then they go after those who were shouting - Fine by me, I wasn't shouting.
  • Then they go after those who were in the protest - Ups, that's me, who can help me with this? No one, there's no one left to fight against them... bye...

“Technology has transformed the act of being in public,” in fact it instills fears of reprisal by participating in a manifestation, which leads to less people manifesting against problems, which leads to more freedom of those in power to do as they will...

Sorry for the late response, where I play, the places are organized in WhatsApp chats, It's not the best organization, but it kinda works, if you call a local place where you want to play, they may include you in the Whatsapp channel where games are organized.

It usually works like so: If i want to play a game in day X at Y hour, I'll ask for opening a game in day X at Y hour, if it is available, they will open a game in the channel stating the date, free seats and level, and other people copy paste the game opening message filling the open seats, when the game is full, the organization books the slot and we go play at the defined date/time.

The recently release HDZero BoxPro goggles. The specs seems very good, also seems a good fit for someone starting since it has two options right out of the box: analog and HDZero.

Starting at 299USD seems to be a good price.

Expect to pay closer to 350+eur in EU.

Howdy maties, what seedbox providers do you use and what should be avoided when looking for one?

I want to get rid of my vps and get a dedicated seedbox, they seem to come nowadays with one click installs and the sorts, a vpn would be nice to have if needed, what do you look for when choosing a provider?
