This was a minor plot point in the Little Monsters movie from the 80s. I never did try that sandwich.... maybe I'll give it a shot some day since I love both peanuts and onions.

He was doing by going there and talking about it. A huge part of being president is being "head of state" and being a cultural figurehead. That means talking to the right people about the right things is important.

The goal for them isn't to have the most money relative to you, it is to make you have no money and be in utter desperation. Then any kind of work that feeds you and your family will be acceptable. Any orders from a billionaire will be followed out of sheer terror of starvation or torture or whatever else the billionaires intend to use as coercion.
