I'm already so done with this course.

My textbook:

p: "The weather is bad."

Exercise:

Represent "the weather is good" using logical symbols.

Me: How am I supposed to answer that? You didn't give me a letter for that. I guess I'll use q?

Expected answer: ~p

THIS IS LITERALLY THE CLASS ABOUT LOGIC DHDJFBDHDJDHDHDH

Who let neurotypicals write a logic textbook istg

A microblog post by @kareem_carr saying "as soon as i saw they were using asterisks for multiplication symbols, i knew we were in trouble", with an image from the "Office of the United States Trade Representative (Executive Office of the President)" showing the mathematical formula $\Delta \tau_i = \frac{x_i - m_i}{\varepsilon * \varphi * m_i}$. The formula show asterisks (*) instead of multiplication signs (Γ—).

Matt Parker recently posted a video on the distribution of dimples on golf balls: Golf balls: how many holes in one?

Some golf balls use Goldberg polyhedra, others use... not Goldberg polyhedra.

Let R be a communist ring... (discuss.tchncs.de)

Clearly it must be (left) noetherian! (Since we wouldn't want a ascending subnormal chain that doesn't stop where all of the elements are enjoyed by the larger ideals/submodules) :)

Sorry, writing "R is comm(unitive)" so many times can make you do things
