tldr: In 2002 and 2003 combined, there were 9 terror attacks with 23 casualties across all of Africa. After the US war on terror campaign in Africa, things are now much much worse. And it looks like this stat doesn't include numbers from direct US acts of terror, like the destruction of Libya in 2011.

There are US empire supporters who will say that this is OK since this is the result of US trying to own the region that rightfully the US should own, but a lot of this is also the US military trying out new weapons, tactics, strategies and just having fun in their own way.

If GOP nominee Mazi Pilip wins on Tuesday, and Republicans keep blocking border legislation, Suozzi warned that “we’re gonna end up with more migrants coming to New York; and on top of that, they’re gonna have access to AR-15s.”

...

The GOP attempted to make a clean break from Santos by nominating Pilip, a county legislator who was born in Ethiopia, moved to Israel and served in its military, and immigrated to New York in 2005. Little-known before this race, Republicans spent more than $6 million in advertising that told her story and blamed Suozzi and Democrats for the wave of migrants bussed in by red-state governors since Biden took office.

President Joe Biden's campaign has joined TikTok, despite the app being banned on most US government devices over security concerns.

His campaign launched its account with the username "@bidenhq" during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

In a launch video, captioned "lol hey guys", aides quizzed Mr Biden about his preferences for the big game.

The president signed legislation in 2022 blocking most federal government devices from using TikTok.

Several states have also adopted the measure. Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have called for the app - owned by Chinese company ByteDance - to be banned in the US over concerns the government in Beijing might be able to access user data.

Still, the site remains popular with young people in the US, a demographic that helped boost Mr Biden to victory in the last election.

His TikTok account will not be run by the president himself, but by his campaign team, aides told US media.

Asked in the launch video if he was rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers, Mr Biden said the Philadelphia Eagles, because otherwise "I'd be sleeping alone" as "my wife's a Philly girl".

He was also asked about a Taylor Swift Super Bowl conspiracy theory that saw some claim the singer's relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was part of a plot to rig the NFL's championship game and help get Mr Biden re-elected this November.

"I'd get in trouble if I told you" about the conspiracy, Mr Biden joked.

Mr Biden faced a stumbling block in his re-election campaign last week after a justice department inquiry into his handling of classified documents called him a "well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory".

Special counsel Robert Hur did not recommend charges for Mr Biden.

“I talked to people in the White House all the time, and you know, they know it’s an issue, but as I like to say, look, it’s a legitimate issue,” Clinton told MSNBC’s Alex Wagner in a sit-down interview earlier this week. “It’s a legitimate issue for [former President] Trump who’s only three years younger. So, it’s an issue.”

Feel free to share any other thoughts you have on Norway, Norwegian history, and how we might be able to achieve revolution here.

What I believe I know is that the reason why Norway is a liberal-democratic monarchy is basically because we industrialized comparatively late. That is, Norway was a highly agrarian society, where the organization of farmers has historically played a major role in the nation's political history and tradition in general.

I found this article from Tjen Folket that goes fairly in-depth on the history, role, context and class character of our Center Party, which is currently governing alongside Labor. But if anybody has any alternative perspectives, or anything to add, then I'd love to hear it.
