In other words: "If people voted for a president for a specific reason, he gets to be dictator! To hell with the law! Why doesn't the court get that?"

You fuckers going to go apologize to Obama and Biden for all the obstruction and court shopping to stop literally everything? Of course not. Only Republicans get to have a dictator you don't ever question or stop, Democrats get every law and process on earth thrown at them...

Wasting breath on their hypocrisy is the point of it. As is wasting breath on all the small stupid shit they do constantly. Ignore it. Focus on what actually is happening and what actually does matter.

To be fair the Democrats do it o themselves. Obama was told you don't choose a supreme Court justice in an election year. No law against it just standard practice so he didn't. But Trump did. Obama could have he just didn't because a Republican said it was against decorum.

That's not how it went down, the Republicans complained Obama would just pick a far left activist judge and specifically called out Merrick Garland as a "reasonable moderate" candidate that he should choose, so he did. Obama didn't have the votes in the Senate to have whoever he wanted so he called the Republicans bluff, picked Garland, and then Mitch McDemonturtle started his "it's an election year" song and dance as cover for why they weren't going to allow a vote. Mitch was the Senate majority leader so he had control over what the Senate did as far as what votes were allowed to be taken up. There wasn't anything Obama could do but nominate someone, then it's up to the Senate to confirm.

Just as Trump got his pick because Mitch McDemonturtle has no fucking morals, he was still in charge of the Senate at that time and so even though the 2020 election was in progress he forced a vote asap so they got their pick... They're such hypocritical pricks
