My problem is that the check lists are out of control (the more I do the more I realise I need to do and my priorities start getting confused). I have managed to stick to some relatively hard constraints for this presentation so I'm going to make sure the slides and all the diagrams are done that way I am free to move back onto the thesis. Rather than juggling everything at once...

Does the presentation have a word limit or talking component limit?

I generally stick to the criteria that they ask for careful not to give too much information if it isn’t called for.

It's about a 15-20 minute presentation with a relatively vague marking rubric. It ascribes equal components to each aspect of the thesis that I will be presenting on, which is a bit dumb since obviously the intro and discussion will require a lot more time than the aims and probably the results.

The presentation itself is going to be picture heavy but a lot of the time is currently being spent creating the diagrams/maps (I will still need these for the thesis as well so it's not time wasted at least). I have not even finished the slides let alone started coming up with a draft script to time myself. At first I was worried that I would not even get up to 15 minutes but I think I will be able to have minimal text on the slides and expand/summarise as much as is needed depending on how I'm going for time.
