Anime characters with adorable animal characteristics, ears, tails, fur, etc.
- Posts must feature "kemonomimis". That is, anime characters with animal features such as cat ears, bunny tails, paws, and so on.
- No nudity. Lewd art is fine, but mark it NSFW.
- If posting a more suggestive piece, or one with simply a lot of skin, consider still marking it NSFW.
- Include a link to the artist in post body, if you can.
- AI Generated content is not allowed.
- Positivity only. No shitting on the art, the artists, or the fans of the art/artist.
- Finally, all rules of the parent instance still apply, of course.
SauceNao can be used to effectively reverse search the creator of a piece, if you do not know it.
You may also leave the post body blank or mention @saucechan@ani.social, in which case the bot will attempt to find and provide the source in a comment.

Ayy, another .avif enjoyer!
Any reason qView doesn't work for you?
I don't use a tiling window manager, so I'm not sure what makes imv ideal. But I dislike how every damn gallery app has an excessive featureset when all I want is to see the damn file I just double-clicked. QView has been perfect, and never let me down in terms of format support, ever since I first installed it back when I was still on windows.
TIL about qView. I am going to give this a shot because I haven't found a great option for viewing webp outside the browser when I am stuck on Windows.
You'll love it. It is exactly the image viewer my minimalist ass would make.
It just shows you the image, allows you zoom and pan, right click for a little more actions and details, and the arrow keys let you go next/previous in the folder.
That's it.

Oh, I just tried it, looks neat but
qview
has a bit different philosophy from imv (for tiling), shortcut bug (can't remap F key, even after unmapping it from any else action), and what is really bad, there are viewing issues on sway. For sake of justise, I tried many viewers but unfortunatellyimv
"just works" better than everything else for me. So I use mpv, web browser orkitten icat
(viewing images inkitty
terminal) for webp. However, I will use qview on Windows, thanks.
