Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.
Example:
- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
- No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

It’s wild that, despite not having any evidence to supprt your theory, you’re still trying to “both sides” this one.
You need to deal with the fact that conservatism attracts terrible people. Maybe a couple stupid people get fooled by some obvious propaganda but the overwhelming majority are simply excited by the cruelty the ideology offers. It’s entire core value is in assigning different values to people and the range is so large that it’s happy to be as close to slaves and kings as society will allow.
Absolutely I’ll bet there are some shady center-right Democrats that the US believes are leftists. Fact is that most of them are just greedy which is what keeps them as centrists instead of going full fascist. You have to look at the information staring you in the face and accept that the further right one goes the worse company there is to be kept.
It's wild that people think that writing a lewd note to a paedophile makes you a paedophile. This is not a discussion where people are going off evidence.
Were you a child in 2016? Not only is most of the shit "coming out" nearly decade-old news, but the amount of evidence of both: Trump's proclivities regarding young girls, AND his very close relationship with Epstein, is staggering.
If you think this is the only thing linking them, you really need to become better informed.
I actually have zero need to be informed about the bad behaviour of a foreign head of state, but I think what you're reading as "poorly informed" is rather "sticking to facts" rather than believing any old shite because it suits my opinions.
So you're proudly uninformed because you don't need to be... but are also informed enough to state that this whole thing is overblown... based on having learned one fact about the matter...? Pick a lane!
I'm pretty confident that if there were actual evidence kicking around, either the article or someone in this thread would actually have brought it up.
It's not "old shite," it's literally what we're talking about right now. The only new shit that has come out has been the stupid fucking letter. Everything else was reported on before he was elected the first time and nobody. Gave. A. Shit.
Loads of people gave a shit.
Doesn't mean loads of people bought into him being a paedo.
It's like the pee tape. There's not actual evidence for it, but people will buy into something like that regardless. Some tongue-in-cheek (because unlike CSA, it's funny) but some seriously, and the tongue-in-cheek repetition of it also keeps it in people's minds until some of them forget that there was never anything substantive.
There's never anything wrong with repeating the scummy things Trump has said, but condensing it into "Trump is a paedo" is drivel.
Except there is tons of evidence of it. From the man himself (about his underage daughter, and about barging into teen dressing rooms), to him literally being sued for raping a 14 year old girl (who dropped the charges after his base ruined her life).
You are actively downplaying the facts
Is that the only clue you think people have? Wow. Way to bury your head in the sand
It's like how people say "Musk giving a Nazi salute doesn't necessarily mean he's a Nazi" when he also actively praises and agrees with Nazis.
