Fair point but they arenโ€™t exactly hermetically sealed either. Iโ€™d expect a lower atmospheric pressure to impose a stronger gradient between skin and vessels. Like if you can get the bends from ascending from depth too quickly, shouldnโ€™t something happen in this case too?
