Or the fact that they're incapable of association their actions with consequences, their manipulative behaviour, innate sadism, and lack of of any real affection for their human owners.

So much of what people like about cat behaviours is just anthropomorphization for things that are not what they think they are.

Cats can definitely associate actions with consequences; have you never seen a cat push something off a table?

A different matter is whether they care about the consequences.

The cat understands what you're telling them to do (well, most cats, once they know you; some cats are too dumb); they just don't want to do it, and you haven't given them a good enough reason.

And if you think a cat can feel affection you clearly haven't lived with cats (or have given them good reason not to feel affection towards you).

Cats will miss their humans when we're gone, and get depressed if we're gone for a long time. They'll seek and give affection from the people they care about. You can't force it though, cats aren't dogs, they haven't been bred to have no option but to pathologically love humans. You have to earn it. If you want a cat to love and respect you, you have to love and respect them.

I can do this too.

Cats can communicate with ants by using quantum transmitters located in their butts to grant wishes, and I know this because my cousin Tommy once fucked a cat in the ass and a colony of fire ants granted his for Anne jet ski.

Every cat is fluent in Persian and Ojibwe and every cat, everywhere, knows when a person pees, who they are, and where they're peeeing.

They possess an emotion humans can't feel called sploofnury.

Cats killed Jesus.

All cats are actually the fruiting bodies of a rare kind of quantum mycelium. I've seen it by using x ray goggles I found on the bus so it's definitely true.

I once saw a cat quoting Shakespeare, in Ojibiwe, but it stopped when it saw me.

Cats don't actually die, they just turn into pillows when they've killed enough small animals.
