I'm a huge Tron fanboy. Love the movies, tv show, the videogames, etc. As a programmer I just really love that universe but I'm not optimistic for Ares. Even the soundtrack I was excited about because I loved Daft Punk's Tron Legacy soundtrack but after hearing NIN's take on it it was just...it wasn't that great and I'm also a huge NIN fan.
I don't think they should have showed Flynn in the trailers and I think they should have brought back his son and Corra. I'm probably one of the few people that actually loved Tron: Legacy, it's one of my favourite films of all time but I'm bias.
I too was a huge NIN fan for a long time. I’ve even met the band!
It’s obvious to me that using the Nine Inch Nails name is a marketing tactic because it’s Tron. It’s “cooler” to have it be Nine Inch Nails because the previous soundtrack was Daft Punk.
Trent has lived in Los Angeles way too long.
He did good work with Health.
