Performative implies pretending to be proactive but the end results are inconsequential. Like Cory Booker's filibuster which achieved minimally. AOC had been touring the country with Bernie Sanders rallying the working class, the base which the Dems abandoned, and even got support from the Republican voters they visited. AOC's encouragement to mock the Republican politicians is simply drawing more ammunition from her arsenal of actually being engaged.

I didn’t say someone else did it. I said someone did it. You are wrongly attributing to AOC, what third party candidates do every election year.
