Iโ€™ve never been to an American Aldi that fits your description. Iโ€™ve been to about 5, in two states.

I've been to 3 in 2 states they were all quite depressing, "the goodwill of food" as a buddy of mine put it.

Weird; I agree with the poster above you - been to Aldi in many different states and theyโ€™ve all looked like any other supermarket.

Honestly Im glad you've had a better experience. I have not yet seen an aldis that wasn't subpar.
