They are completely fucked in the head. Bernie is calling for peace, against american interventionism and Trump dragging the US into war, i cannot understand what an issue they have with that, isn't that what they should want from him?
Tankies are supportive of trump since they believe that trump will bring the end of the US so Russia and China can swoop in as global powers
But Russia and China are not really communist. I don't understand how they can support those two governments. Karl Marx would not see either of them as true communist.

That user has been through hundreds upon hundreds of accounts doing exactly that for well over a year. They're not mentally stable.

You're close. Tankies are supportive of anything that lines up with the state-sponsored propaganda they consume.
They might "think" Trump will at least bring peace, during the election as a reason to not oppose him. They might hate Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, but love particular Russian-aligned US politicians who are ten times more "problematic" or pro-empire than those ones (or other particular ones they also do extensive hand-wringing about.) It's why they all support Maduro, it's why they hate Ukraine but support Palestine, it's why they love software like Lemmy but hate software like Wikipedia, it's why they are worried about green energy in Europe which isn't "practical" but also hate Biden because he didn't support clean energy enough, and so on and so on. Their collection of anecdotes and arguments is pretty much a perfect match for the Russian disinfo machine and there is literally no other thought process I can come up with that arrives at such a specific and self-contradictory assemblage of stances.
They're just dim enough to get taken in. What proportion of them are true disinfo posters, and what proportion are genuine people who are simply dim enough to get fooled and so self-select themselves into the community, I have no idea, although I would love to be able to find out somehow.
Trump wants to work with dictators and is willing to work with Russia and China to divide up the world into their own areas of imperialistic influence. That's it, they are basically on the leash of troll factories when not members themselves. The only room for the left is the foreign state sanctioned left.

He explicitly says that the US does not have the right to take over venezuela, and that congress has to pass a resolution to make sure that congress is the one who decides on wars and to end trumps shit. you and all the bears are failing at reading comprehension.
Huh?.... Uh... Did you read the wrong statement? He said that war powers are explicitly given to Congress specifically to prevent unilateral action like this and calls out the act as terrible and destabilizing, ergo Congress would not have approved it.
He spends paragraphs pointing out the hypocrisy of the administration claiming to be doing terrible shit for the benefit of US citizens while citizens continue to be exploited. Trump is the one framing this as a domestic issue, this statement is responding to that, pointing out the absurdity of "running" Venezuela when he can't even run America.
And yes no shit he's focusing on the American perspective because he's a politician writing to the American voter audience. If you took 4 seconds to comprehend his statement he's condemning American supremacy and imperialism.
For all the theory tankies tell people to read, it sure seems like their reading comprehension isn't very good.
