Does this really work against modern facial recognition though?

Especially if you facto in that use of this makeup can be used as an identifier if not everyone is doing it.

I actually really like the idea and the look as a form of protest against tracking but i also fear its actually a co-op to make people believe there safe when they are not.

No it was an art project and not ever anything tested to actually work.

Wear a mask.

For cameras maybe. But anything with lidar can get accurate dimensions of your face pretty easily.

I’d imagine if someone is going this far they would change it up every day, though probably some patterns could be found from that too.
