My brother in Christ, the New Testament is basically composed of Jesus going around, telling people to not be assholes and to believe in God. If you take him out there's no religion, Qur'an itself says you can't be a Muslim without believing in the prophets so that's ruled out and I know these people won't all convert to Judaism. Are they gonna start worshipping money? Ford?
There are a lot of American Catholics who think Pope Francis is a false Pope because he pays hollow lip service to poor people.
They are above hypocrisy. They'll simply redefine their religion, whether through splinter groups or on a personal level to make it consistent with their greed.
Oh, they have and they will.
They've been worshipping money for a while now. The former president of the Southern Baptist Conference earned himself the nickname "Armani Ronnie" when he was just a local pastor in Northwest Arkansas.
What, you don't remember those famous words of jesus when he said "Haha, just be as greedy as possible bro. That camel can totally fit through the eye of a needle so don't worry about it Haha!"
Christians are everything they accuse Jews of being.
Sadly, at least here in the American south, I don't know a single, non-clergy, christian who has read the Bible. Instead they've somehow been filled with the message that they'll somehow not understand it.
So the only understanding they have of their own religion comes from sermons, pop culture, and maybe a devotional they read once during a hard time in life.
