You gotta give it to Iran for being completely unbested when it comes to identifying pressure points (markedly ahead of the largest economy in the world.)

Large but young. A civilization as old as Iran's will know a thing or two about real politik and how to utilize leverage. Iran could easily come out of this a regional power as it has been throughout history. China has also risen much closer to its historical global standing and India is accelerating in that direction also. We are watching an era of Western hegemony fade away and it is fascinating to see. Doubt it will be as bad as the fall of the Romans and 1000 years of religious dogma and anti-intellectualism but this is a high risk period for sure.

My theory is that there is a strong potential that Iran is going to come out of this bullshit war as a regional power that can punch way above their weight class.

I think the actual goal is to create a fierce enemy hellbent on destruction of the US so there is always an enemy to fight. That's why they are bombing the schools and research centers, they want to make the Iranian people hate us completely so they can always say "You have to elect us, they want to destroy us and the other party is weak"

We have always been at war with Eastasia.

Its kind of a Tower of Babel situation, the not rich people had built a great tool of communication and cooperation. The wealth gods felt threatened by the combined power of the poor and the middle. So the weatlh gods destroyed the internet, hiding knowledge behind flase orAIcles and gatekeeping with token currency.

They will finally get around to building their nukes too, after this. And Israel wont be so eager to bomb them all the time.

Israel might even be less eager to bomb its neighbours in general.

Another predictable result of MAGAs virtuosic incompetence.
