I understand your thinking, but I think the argument is to RAISE the minimum wage. So all 30 million of those people you referenced would get better-paying jobs immediately.

Yes. But the opposition to raising minimum wage is usually that those people should just get better jobs. My point was that argument is invalid as it’s not possible.
