Screw the ´the Bears are 10 players away from being 10 players away´ quote

This team is a 2nd good pass rusher, center and a WR away from being a playoff locked team.

Get rid of Eddie and Whitehair, their contracts are not worth the return & use it to pay a pass rusher.. look at the difference Sweat makes and what having a single decent pass rusher does for your team. Need a 2nd and the defence is set. We have nice pieces at DT and in the secondary

Offence also isnt missing much. Need consistency at the center position and a 2nd weapon next to DJ Moore.

Replace this terrible coaching staff and I dont see how we cant contend in this TERRIBLE NFC. I know we are having a rough year, but look at the state of the entire NFC. There are 2 elite teams in the 49ers and Eagles, 2 good teams in the Lions and Cowboys. Any other team isnt in that much of a better state than we are going forward

This is exactly my feel. I look at a lot of teams who win and I don’t see them have much better talent we have.

I sometimes tune in on the after show and Alex Brown always talks about the players not being good enough. I’m like, have you seen who the Vikings are playing with?

100% and glad people are noticing. Outside of the coach hires Poles is building a good team. And shock, sometimes when you build through the draft it takes young players lots of game time to develop.

They are more than one pass rusher away. Come on. They are dead last in basically every pressure stat and adding Sweat might push them up to bottom 5 at best.

WR opens another hole next year because Mooney will probably be gone.

The secondary blows.

QB is still a question mark until he can put together at least one comeback drive. Just one.

Yes the coaching staff is terrible but I definitely remember the "replacing nagy is worth 3 wins alone" argument that busted too.

I think Jaylon and Gordon are starters on 80% of all teams. I think saying our secondary blows is just straight up wrong

Stevenson will have a lot to proof, but he is a rookie playing a difficult position on a team that has failed to create pressure all year. Him and our secondary really are playing the game on hard mode currently

Edit: also Terrell Smith was very promising. In my mind corner is one of the only positions I´m ignoring all offseason.

You are right about QB is a question mark. Currently I dont have an outspoken opinion and the rest of the season will determine everything

The secondary is unable to stop anyone on 3rd down, for any reason, in any situation. They are 32nd in the league. Dead last. Whether or not that's the complete lack of pass rush or an ass secondary I don't know, but I do know that a 32nd ranked pass rush, a 32nd ranked red zone percentage, and 32nd in sacks is FAR from "just a few players away"

3rd down is a scheme problem. The cover 2 sucks giant dick and is easy to move the ball on. It’s hard to get of the field on 3rd down when the defense is designed to let people get yards to prevent TD’s

Why are the Bears 26th in Passing Yards allowed, 30th in Passing TD allowed, and 24th in Net Passing Yards per Attempt if the secondary is so good?

Why did the Lions go for 148 yards, mostly through the air, and 2 TDs in a total of 3 minutes and 20 seconds of game time in the 4th?
