Cant say I agree with the Love part. I think the being hindered by support cast only counts for a few drops

Either their WR´s or their coaching is underrated as hell, because there always seems to be someone massively open. And Love does a good job finding him

Also their oline is still very good.. whenever I lurk their gametime thread and they are ranting that their oline stinks, I realize QB isnt the only position they are spoiled as hell with

I´d say he has an above average supporting cast at minimum. Its just a lot of New or unknown names, but that will probably change soon

Goff is a QB who is as good as his supporting cast

Their oline is often dominant and it makes him look good. If his line is struggling, goff cant overcome it because he lacks physical ability

He´s OK. Not much more to say about it

Haha yeah its crazy

I found myself checking what kind of schedule all the current wild card teams have had to get to their record. Every time I said ´holy thats an easy schedule!´

Turns out just about everyone has very reasonable schedule when the average team is as bad as this year

Exactly! I dont mind going Qb and WR with our 1st rounders. Get that QB a solid 2 next to DJ & get started the right way

Having 2 good to great WR´s for the 1st couple of years of a rookie´s career would be wonderful

Anyone else find it remarkable how absolutely garbage the NFC looks? Any team not making the playoffs can be labelled terrible. And only the Vikings have a valid excuse with Kirk being out

Hell, even the 2 lowest wildcard seeds will be teams that are flawed as hell & teams I wouldnt be confident in to beat the most teams below them.

NFC is terrible. We have a young defence that is trending up, decent cap space and great draft capital. There is no way we shouldnt be relevant next season, regardless of who is at QB

If we include the Fields scrambles, this coaching staff just called 45 pass plays in a 12-10 game where Roshon was averaging a healthy amount of yards per carry

Around 15-20 screen passes?

This play calling is fricking illegal. Idc who is QB, dont let this coaching staff anywhere near this team next year

Goff should have had a pick 6 aswell against the Bears..

Turnover machine right now

One thing I cant stand is people pointing at Fields passing yards and saying THAT is the proof of a bad game

The rushing yards DO count you know..

If he plays like yesterday or a tiny bit better the rest for the year, I like the situation we are in. I believe we can win with him, and the draft capital and cap space can set us up nicely.

Or you can still trade him and his value will be reasonable. If Darnold was still worth a bit more than a 2nd, Justin with a couple of more quality games should be worth at least that

Win-win if Justin plays well down the stretch

I think Jaylon and Gordon are starters on 80% of all teams. I think saying our secondary blows is just straight up wrong

Stevenson will have a lot to proof, but he is a rookie playing a difficult position on a team that has failed to create pressure all year. Him and our secondary really are playing the game on hard mode currently

Edit: also Terrell Smith was very promising. In my mind corner is one of the only positions I´m ignoring all offseason.

You are right about QB is a question mark. Currently I dont have an outspoken opinion and the rest of the season will determine everything

Screw the ´the Bears are 10 players away from being 10 players away´ quote

This team is a 2nd good pass rusher, center and a WR away from being a playoff locked team.

Get rid of Eddie and Whitehair, their contracts are not worth the return & use it to pay a pass rusher.. look at the difference Sweat makes and what having a single decent pass rusher does for your team. Need a 2nd and the defence is set. We have nice pieces at DT and in the secondary

Offence also isnt missing much. Need consistency at the center position and a 2nd weapon next to DJ Moore.

Replace this terrible coaching staff and I dont see how we cant contend in this TERRIBLE NFC. I know we are having a rough year, but look at the state of the entire NFC. There are 2 elite teams in the 49ers and Eagles, 2 good teams in the Lions and Cowboys. Any other team isnt in that much of a better state than we are going forward
