If the Bears have the number 1 pick, Poles is drafting Williams. A QB on a rookie contract is the most valuable asset in sports. Poles is from KC, and Williams's comparable is Mahomes (not mine per se, but the draft experts).

Then he will draft the best WR or OL with the second pick.

Poles would trade Fields predraft, and if he continues to play well, probably for a 2nd. (DL?)

Also by not extending Fields he saves about $22m which he could spend on Higgins / Pittman if the Bears went OL in the draft.
