Might already be the best WR the Bears have ever had lol.
Every time I see comments like these the more and more Iβm convinced that 90 percent of the people here started watching 2 years ago. DJ isnβt anywhere near what B-Marsh was for us
Brandon Marshall was the best Bears wr I've seen. He also had a capable QB. If Moore sticks around he'll be the best in Bears history.
Yeah, was said about Robinson too. ARob couldnt hold Marshall's jockstrap. Itll all depend on DJ's longevity with the team but a half season doesnt not make DJ the best WR we've ever had.
Doesnβt notβ¦ π€
Marshall was a legit Top 3 WR and he was only top 3 because he played at the same time as peak Calvin and Andre Johnson
There were a lot of great #1 WRs in the league around that time. The two you mentioned, plus Fitz, Julio, AJ Green, Demaryius Thomas, Jordy Nelson, Antonio Brown, Josh Gordon. I'm sure there are others, but those are just a few of the WR1 names that come to mind.
In his era, Marshall is firmly Top 10 and probably Top 5, but it's hard to say he was the best of his generation when his generation included so many incredible players.
I definitely remember the Cutler/Forte/Marshall/Jeffery days!
Moore is on pace to put up numbers close to Marshall's first 2 years as a Bear. Not quite as good as Marshall's 2012, but right about the same or maybe even a little better than his 2013.
Hes also doing it in a completely broken and pedestrian offensive system that routinely forgets he exists - Imagine what he would do in a competent offense
Lol thatβs what we used to say about Cutler/Marshall/Jeffery too.
Marshall was never forgotten while Cutler was throwing.
The Bears were third in scoring offense before Cutler got hurt in 2012 and finished second in scoring in 2013. The Bears are somewhere around 20th this season.
And there were still also fans arguing that QB was the only thing holding us back.
My point is some things never change.
He made it look effortless at times. Like he was playing against JV squads instead of NFL defenses.
Brandon Marshall was a badass motherfucker.
He sure was!
But meatballs here will continue to whine about Fields not having weapons.
