I don’t get my poles gets so much hate. Yes, he chose Flus. However, I think people forget that was from a list of three guys provided to him by polien. All I know is he knows talent. Braxton jones, Darnell Wriggt, brisker, Gordon, Dexter, Bagent and more. He’s also got sweat, Moore, Edward’s, and Edmund’s. Also got Carolina’s first round. Dude can get and has gotten a solid team. Now we we need a coach to mold it.

Am I the only one who thinks Brisker is just a guy?

What has he done besides getting injured?

He looks lost in coverage most of the time and miss reads plays.

I guess he is a good blitzer but is that what you want out of a safety?

Im convinced Brisker is loved by fans that don't watch the games. He misses tackles and is late to the play constantly.

Brisker is awful.

I literally think they should just convert him to MLB. If he can handle the green light on the helmet and can gain a few pounds, I really think he has all the tools necessary to play the position.

But I’m just an armchair GM.

He’s too soft for MLB

[–] redditappsucksbigly@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He's 6'1 200 and constantly hurt at safety. Dude would need to add 40 lbs to not get sent in IR immediately at MLb lolollll

Agreed he is just a normal player almost a backup

He was great his rookie season. I remember watching him singlehandedly stop a Mahomes' led Chiefs offensive drive. Made the play on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down. This year, ever since watching him flap his wings against Washington while they were eviscerating us, he's all talk. Put up or shut up. Can't be running your mouth from the bottom of the division, damn near bottom of the league.

big time JAG, I can’t think of a single impact play he’s made this season

[–] Relevant_Ad_7425@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

You are absolutely not alone in thinking that, pretty much exactly my thoughts about Brisker. I also believe Jackson is mostly cooked so the Bears need to replace both their current safeties. Most Bears podcasters I've heard feel the same as you as well

Brisker had a solid rookie year but has regressed badly this year by all accounts (PFF, film grinders, etc). That pick is currently not looking like a hit

He had that one insane interception on Monday night football over a year ago. That’s enough for the average bears fan to consider a player elite for at least another season or 2

[–] StegoJoe16@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

From what I understand, Brisker has played much of this year on a less than 100% groin, which has affected his ability to keep up with players in coverage and it kinda makes sense. He seems to overestimate his own speed at times, expecting to be able to get back but then coming up short. Could be wrong and he could just be overplaying his position, but it’s hard to say without being in the Bears org.

No he's cheeks this year
