If the team isn't sold on the 2024 QBs, they'd be better off drafting MHJ and an OL or pass rusher, build the team around Fields for next season & if Fields doesn't show that he's the future, then draft a QB in 2025. The team would be in a better position for a rookie QB then and its not like there won't be any top QB prospects available if we wait.

This would be so negligent. They'd be wasting prime years of our two real studs in Sweat and DJ (and JJ if he's back) plus cheap rookie contract years of other guys like DW and wasting expensive years of guys like Edmunds.

All to go from 90% sure that JF isn't the guy to 100% sure and enter next year's draft in a worse position to draft a QB, to say nothing of the fact it looks like a much weaker QB draft class anyway.
