In a very over educated kitchen i used to work in, we had 2 people working on their master thesis in philosophy and 2 of us who are well read enough to at least keep up outside of super specific stuff. So the thought experiment was proposed, which philosopher would you kill if you had a time machine. One thesis guy picked Adam Smith, the other picked Nietchze, other armchair went with Shoppenhauer cause he just felt the dude was unpleasant and would be relieving the people around him of that, I went with Hobbes. Fuck that guy, love the Tiger, hate the dude.
