That phrase is in my everyday rotation. Kitchen work sometimes requires some very precise plans that you kinda hope don't get fucked up to stay afloat and when those times come, I'm saying that. A lot of Simpsons and Futurama quotes are just part of my everyday lexicon and at this point I don't even notice I'm not using well known proverbs
