This obviously doesn't work at airports. Concerts and such, no one really cares that much.

I'll remember this trick when I accidentally forget to leave my knife in the car for an event and we just walked a couple of miles from our parking spot to get to the gate. I've had to hide it in the bushes a couple times before.
