Turns out "I'm not trump" is less of an effective sales pitch if the other person also isn't Trump and that's literally all they have to run on.
Liberals in 2028 after Trump died of natural causes a year prior: We're still 99% Hitler. Why won't you vote for the lesser of one Hitlers?
They'd just find another guy to villainize. Probably a foreigner like Xi or Putin or Generic Hamas Guy.
