I do find it a bit weird racist, angry teenage boys obviously lying on the internet gets ~~more~~ LESS flack than dispossessed, sad, teenage girls obviously lying on the internet does.

The difference is all green texts are fake, it’s assumed to be fake and the point is just to have a funny story. It’s basically like a creative writing exercise done by anonymous users. Whereas the “that happened” types of stories that tend to get panned are obvious lies by a public account where the goal is to deceive people into thinking the poster is a good person.
Honestly I’ve seen the “that happened” variety done more by men than women.
eh, what? teenage girls get more flack just for telling the truth.
