People keep telling the last few episodes of season 2 and the rest of season 3 are good, but I stopped watching because S2 was just so fucking boring I kept falling asleep and having to rewind that shit
yeah blame ABC for making Lynch leave for 90% of S2. The middle episodes are the worst but Ep 21/22 and the entirety of The Return makes it all worth it.
the season 2 finale is possibly the best episode of the entire series, if you're into the surrealist stuff. it's genuinely terrifying, scarier than most horror movies IMO
Nah season 2 picks up when
Tap for spoiler
Cooper is done with investigation but chooses to stay and earle comes into play. You can easily skip everything from episode 10 of season 2 until episode 17 when they introduce Heather Graham as Annie Blackburn and the show starts having some sort of actual plot again. If you can't get into the groove of it then, just skip until the last two episodes. It's worth it too. It's genuinely insane how hard Lynch goes in the last episode, it's like he just snaps his fingers and all the magic the show has ever had is back again and then some.
