Why do they even give a shit?
They not only see themselves as "allies", but also as the most furthest left you can go, so our existence makes them uncomfortable. This ironically leads to them going mask off for a brief moment, by denying trans people's identities based on what their politics are. "Allies", indeed.
When you're "as far left as they come", anything to the left of you must actually just be fascism. Communists are just red fascists, anarchists are fascists whenever they do anything cool or use violence. Only people exactly as liberal as I am get to be called left.

The liberal brainpan cannot tolerate encountering a political position that does not admit compromise unless that position harms groups large enough to be considered undifferentiated "other"s. Many such cases: racism, trans rights, animal rights, children's rights, refugees, and I'm only hitting the highlights.
