Idk part of that is just putting on a show, IIRC he said his favorite thing at mcdonalds was the "fish delight". The man may never have actually eaten a hotdog.
Does McDonald's even sell hot dogs? They're mostly a food stand or make them yourself kind of thing.
They used to, they also used to have pizza. This was all pre-2000 though.
Apparently they used to in a few locations (and Japan as part of the breakfast menu?), but my point was more that he doesn't know what's on the menu which suggests it's a show that he's putting on to appear "down to earth". That fact that he's bad at it just shows even more how detached he is from a normal person. Think that bit where Bill Gates tried to guess the price of groceries.
The most probable case where Trump does actually eat and like fast food is that he's not going there to get his order, he's telling someone "hey get me something from mcdonalds". He's definitely not just wandering the city and grabbing a hot dog from a food stand.
Yeah honestly I bet the fast food shit is mostly for show. Trump seems like the kind of fancy lad that can’t handle eating peasant food, and has people making him expensive dishes for every meal.
