I'm starting to think that RAtM was a bit optimistic with "some" in this one.
I don't know. I don't necessarily believe that a majority of police are white supremacists. I do believe that the vast majority are complicit in the behavior of their worst offenders, though. If they aren't willing to call out corruption among themselves, then they are at least corruption-adjacent.

There is literally no meaningful difference. If you are complicit in white supremacy, you ARE a white supremacist.
idk at this point in American politics do you see any non-conservative becoming a cop? now pair that with how conservatives are becoming more and now openly racist... I'd say it's more realistic than not to assume most cops are racist just based on demographics.

While cops and white supremacists often being on the same side is a major factor, white supremacists are also absolute cowards in the face of authority and will immediately back down like the little bitches they are.

This is the real reason. If Black Lives Matter or whoever else showed up to protests wearing plate carriers and carrying AR15’s you can bet your ass the police would be a lot more respectful.

I was at a protest once right around after Trump was elected, a counter protestor came up within minutes of our arrival and started screaming expletives at us. The police immediately got involved to protect him from us.
