California will also want to make sure it secures the Intel Corp campus in the Portland Oregon area because that is where Intel does all their silicon fabrication research and development. Although Boise Idaho will be independent from all this, a city-state owned by a Micron Technology Corporation and Battelle Memorial Institute joint venture.
