[–] lemmydripzdotz456@lemmy.world 72 points 10 months ago (2 children)

i will cover myself in dirt to show how I am in touch with nature and my true self. No dirt on my face, though.

Don’t forget to show a good amount of thigh!

[–] hydroptic@sopuli.xyz 9 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

That's a "good amount of thigh"?

Good thing her ankles aren't showing in the picture too, that'd be scandalous

It's a religious faction of the Fallout Universe, who believe that radiation is devine

She's spent too much time in the coal mines.

[–] DaddleDew@lemmy.world 28 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Isashi Ouchi just slowly melted alive in a hospital bed for attention.

(Warning: if you don't know, it is a very sad google search)

This is something I show students in physics class because they're just morbid at high school age and I'm pretty morbid myself.

But no, I do black it out on the slideshow and give the antsy a chance to vacate the classroom.

Fact: In the beginning, God said, "Let there be light."

Fact: Light is electromagnetic radiation

Therefore, radiation is a God's Will and we should bathe in it daily.

bump (for a friend)

Q: What did Marie Curie say to Albert Einstein?

A: At speeds approaching c, I still have one more Nobel prize than you

[–] iAvicenna@lemmy.world 13 points 10 months ago (1 children)

you gotta love the conditional "pure of spirit". Not pure of spirit? Oops sorry then you melt.

[–] HawlSera@lemm.ee 1 points 10 months ago

Obviously you're only pure of spirit if you don't fake your radiation sickness, but if you do, you're not...

Really gives a whole new meaning to the term "Fake it till you make it."

Ridiculous divinity reference aside, the sun’s light and heat are both radiation that our existence depends on.

However, if she prefers ionizing radiation I’m sure we can find some radithor, a radium water jar, or some basement full of radon for ~~her~~ the meme creator to soak in.

[–] JackbyDev@programming.dev 12 points 10 months ago (1 children)

What in the children of atom is this?

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 1 points 10 months ago

In the early days of nuclear research he and radiation, they didn’t know how dangerous it was, and there was a lot of stupidity (and even more things that are stupidity in the hindsight of progress.)

But I’m pretty sure she never said this.

Flat Earth white Jesus didn't die for our sins so the circle Sun wouldn't bless us with its divine rays! 🤠

[–] hydroptic@sopuli.xyz 7 points 10 months ago (1 children)

the circle Sun

The funniest part about many flat Earthers is that they do believe that other planets etc are spherical (probably because it's obvious when you look at them through a telescope), somehow it's just the Earth that's flat

[–] Hule@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)

B-but Earth is the center of the Univershe!

[–] hydroptic@sopuli.xyz 4 points 10 months ago

Guess that could predispose a planet to being flat

[–] Chiarottide@lemmy.world 9 points 10 months ago

You know she's gonna turn around and say cellphone radiation gives you cancer

[–] tilefan@lemm.ee 8 points 10 months ago

dirty knees look at these

[–] HawlSera@lemm.ee 1 points 10 months ago
