The use of a globe in the emblem is otherwise odd and random. C&C is still very popular in Syria. It's mote likely to be based on it than being a coincident

Theres a C&C bundle that has pretty much everything worthwhile and C&C4, on steam, for sale at a whopping 6 euros right now in the winter sale.

It includes Generals and Zero hour

When did C&C change the GDI logo to that and also when did they go from Global Defense Initiative to Global Defense Army? Their logo was a bird of some kind, not whatever the fuck this is. What the fuck did EA do?

Generals doesn't take place in the same continuity as the main C&C universe. The GLA is a different faction entirely than the GDI.
