Old man yells at cloud time: I feel like naming yourself "Ninja" is something a 7 year old would do. I can't take it seriously. It's like naming your BG3 rogue "Assassin" or your music group "Guitarists".
But also I stay away from all influencers, so I don't know what's going on in that world.
naming yourself like a 7 year old is a good way to be popular as a streamer of a game 7 year olds play
My crew are all over 55.
The zero build is fun, give it a shot
What do you feel about the name Gaga?
The juxtaposition of the formal "Lady" and the babyish "Gaga" is mildly interesting.
I'll give you that, "Lady Ninja" sounds way cooler.
I like that it's an homage to the best band ever, Queen.
And if that’s your nickname growing up and it sticks..? Gotta be a few dude.
I expect most people don't stick with their nickname from when they were a kid. The kid we called "green shit" (because he'd always play luigi) isn't obligated to carry on that name. I mean, we lost touch, maybe he is, but somehow I doubt it.
Most do, sounds like you just gave people abusive names and they just stop letting you call them that.
Nicknames are what people call themselves, not the names bullies use lmfao, what a take.
I wanted to be like kids these days amiright, but yeah you had it right in the first sentence. You are actually just 100% straight up hating.
What exactly is "100% straight up hating"? Are other percentages available? Other directions? Verbs?
This is 10% luck hating 20% skill hating 15% concentrated power of hating 5% pleasure hating 50% pain hating and 100% straight up hating
Id go see a band called "The Guitarists"
They only play trumpets
Cool, I love Ska!
I mean, it's not an influencer thing, it's a common sense thing. His username on twitch used to be NinjasHyper. Common sense dictates that this is a fairly normal username because of the nature of usernames. Common sense also dictates that when addressing someone who you only know by the internet moniker of "NinjasHyper", you're going to call them Ninja or Hyper.
Not if you are using @ In that case you would use the full username.
Mr Hyper.
What about band/musician names? Isn't calling yourself The Boss, or Satchmo, or Hootie and the Blowfish, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Led Zeppelin "unserious"
And secondly why is being silly bad?
Context? Were they beefing?
It was something along the lines of Ninja inviting Gaga to play fortnite sometime and she's like who tf are you.
I've seen it many times, but it would've made sense to post the things that Ninja fella said.
Who's ninja? (I really don't know)
A very popular game streamer. This post is pretty old, at least a year.
A previously very popular game streamer
You mean to tell me there isn't a Lady Gaga skin in Fortnite? They got everyone and everything else 🤷🏻♂️
Right? Or Bjork's swan dress.
Fortnite is the new version of Unreal Tournament.
Fortnite is to UT, like a Dacia is to a porsche.
Cool. Now I just need another analogy to explain the comparison between a Dacia to a Porsche.
Errr ... fine. I have a bias. I didnt like fortnite. I grew up playing twitch shooters like quake and UT. The most important things that mattered back then was movement, positioning and ofcourse, aim.
Aim was a huge huge part, back then the input was as analog as it got. Nowadays I feel like raw aim has taken a step back, while still being important, It is not THE diferentiating factor any longer, especially in games like fortnite.
I'm bitter about that because my mechanical skill is still up there even as an older dude, but in todays games everyone runs circles around me, especially in games like fortnite.
I miss the arena shooters, the raw input feel of 1:1 of the analog days. But I guess I'm just another older guy screaming at a cloud.
Closer to a paraded corpse than a new version
