Next time I buy a plane it will definitely be an Airbus and not a Boeing.

In this we must be United

Key shareholders were on the scam...

How much did Boeing spend on share buy backs?

The board approved them....

Same thing with Intel.

Now both will be bailed out by taxpayers and criminals will keep the stolen money

Thank you, Ronald Reagan, Milton Friedman and the entire University of Chicago School of Economics. Couldnโ€™t have happened without you.

I mean, working as designed?

It's not in incompetency, these mega shareholders know exactly what they're doing, it's all about maximizing shareholder profits, everything else be damned.

Iโ€™m not following this

Well, canโ€™t argue there

Just a majority of the voting Americans.

[โ€“] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Implying there wasn't massive fraud

[โ€“] FlexibleToast@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago (2 children)

There wasn't. The election was not rigged.

Nope. We already went through this in 2020. There wasn't massive fraud then, and there wasn't massive fraud in 2024.

[โ€“] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

OK, fine, just enough fraud.

What if being too stupid to vote but then doing it anyway was a kind of fraud? Yes, I'm a centrist who just wants us to all be friends, how did you guess?

[โ€“] FlexibleToast@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago

You could make the argument that defunding education leads to a population that's more susceptible to fraud.

It was, by Musk, he used the addresses he got from that sweepstake. A number of computer scientists sent proof to the Democrats and were ignored.

Dammit, I had all the sources somewhere.

Shareholders want money at any cost. It's not incompetence, it's criminal greed. Let's hope Airbus and Embraer don't follow Boeing's steps.
