Happiest of anniversaries!!!!
Go get some!
The yays outweigh the boos, which is as it should be. Have fun!
Congrats, hope you have an awesome time!
Bill comforting Ted after he got in trouble. Bill staring daggers at me. ( I feel like a monster but Ted got into my calligraphy works 😞 )
That's adorable (sorry for your calligraphy but it's lovely seeing bill comfort ted 😍)
Edit: honestly with the backstory that is an incredible photo
They really are brothers now
Interview done! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Out for dins w/ p's and bro and SIL had to leave.
Not the best night.
oh well.
It’s really hard when things aren’t great with fam, and you’ve got such a difficult situation there. I totally get the whole ‘be polite and keep the peace out of respect’, but still having to deal with how shit some situations are
Found out from a big former client of mine that they're leaving.
Hahaha fuck yes!
They brought in over $100k in revenue a Month!
Bought a dozen eggs on my way home. ALL of them were rotten. The best before date still had 3 weeks to go. If using eggs, crack them into a bowl before adding them to dinner folks, for your own protection. I reckon they must be scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel now in the egg warehouses.
Domestic next door. Apparently teen needs to 'stop freaking out over stupid stuff'. Yelling will certainly help that 🙄
Thanks guys for the well wishes. Back home now having a couple of coldies outside in the yard.
4th last day in this place and a particular co-worker has the cheek to ask me for something.
He has been referred to the manager with a reminder that my official policy for this week is "I ain't doing shit"
Still drinking and playing music and laughing.
Good morning. Quiet night. Everyone sleeping well in the cold autumn nights.
It truly is the best sleeping season of the year. Rugged up nights and brisk mornings that turn warm.
Pure bliss.
Had a really good sleep but needed more of it, very vivid dreams last night.
Monster horde, robots, Maccas, an odd combination of dreams,
So, so much better than those hot muggy nights! I'm loving it. My favourite time of the year is here!!
Two weeks off reddit. I'm not sure if it's made a difference. Nice not reading about the finer details of the various northern hemisphere's many issues.
It's been about 3 months for me and I have to tell you, I feel a shit tonne better.
That was my first in office day in 3 weeks lol.
Was nice to see my co-workers.
So happy to be leaving.
Also got my first ever wide-screen pc monitor today. Holy crap!!!!
Washing done, air filters cleaned, dishwasher cleaned, oven cleaning started. Now I'm steeling myself for a fridge cleanout. There are a few things in there that have reached the goo stage (cucumber seems to turn into a liquid state very easily).
how goods a chicken enchilada! its even got some veggies in it, by my reckoning that makes it healthy.
Yesterday I wore a t-shirt (big almighty gasp) and pretty much everyone around me wore long sleeves? I'm the one who has poor circulation and gets cold easily.
I ended up putting a jacket on when I got a tiny bit cold, but otherwise I was fine? Maybe it was because I was walking quite a bit.
I'm in a t-shirt and pants this morning, and to my surprise I noticed a lot of jumpers / coats being worn on my way to the office. The only change I've made so far is from shorts to pants, and it'll be shorts weather again by this arvo.
I got bitten by a spider in my sleep a couple nights ago. I haven't turned into Spiderman (yet) but the itching is crazy. I tried applying vinegar on the bite, which is what happened to me growing up when I got bitten by mozzies. It worked a bit but doesn't last long enough, have just purchased something stronger from the pharmacy.
take care with that , hugs
me wan slep
It is the slepy time, it is the time for slep
Just got off an hour long call with an old friend. Met them 5 jobs ago (almost 10yrs ago now), and we've been friends since.
I'm relieved he's okay, he's up in brissy, but didn't lose power or get flooded. Phew!
Hopefully I'll see him again when he comes down to Melbs in May.
I'm glad I called!
every day something horrifying out of america 😞
No news is good news as they say. Not the case now.
indeed
When news stops what does a person do?
I suppose what people in the SSR used to do. Keep a diary.
I think the saddest thing I have heard this week, and i have a lot going on, is the loss of Voice of America. All those old movies where you see people in communist or fascist countries huddled around a contraband home made radio listening to news, they were listening to Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, Voice of Liberty .
There is BBC World Service still and now it is more vital than ever.
over whelmed by packing has started.
I think I should concentrate on totally finishing a room at a time.
Morning y’all
Another long long day and I'm feeling so bleah about having to go sit down and do my uni stuff now... I want a treat to motivate myself... but I gotta keep things tight until Friday. And frankly I've been putting on a bit recently
Engelbert Humperdinck - Can't take my eyes off you
The funniest name in the biz.
Cut my finger on the packet while getting a strepsil. Put strepsil in mouth then thoughtlessly put cut finger in mouth too. Yowch
Saw hot air balloons on the drive in this morning. It's always nice seeing them do their thing
I'm pretty glad to be out in the field for work on a stunning day like this but really nervous about having enough time and energy to prep my uni data all in one night (a chunk of manual work remains). At least I only need to leave the house around 10am so if I need to push on through till 1am I can do it. Was working till 11:15pm last night to get the bit of desktop work due today out of the way...
