Didn't get the job, most likely due to my TAFE schedule not aligning with their work hours. Which is fair, but I am sad about it.

I channelled the disappointment into more job applications so there's that I guess.

OK ive done 2 hours work today.

Now it's chill out time.

Someone's about to head to the park and jump in puddles (and probably need a bath).

Looking after hambam this w/e.

Little cousin's car was stolen when she was looking after him recently and the place next door was done too. They entered the place (she was alone) and demanded keys. So none of aunt's grandkids are (very understandably) keen on looking after him so doggo is stuck with me again.

These little thieving cunts are just in it for joyriding completely unaware (or are they) of the trauma they leave.

I think I'm in trouble. I used a box to post my coffee grinder and Miss Meow has noticed it missing. It's better to beg forgiveness than ask permission, right?

I'm starting to get excited about the move, thinking of all the things I can do. I have a note book with all my ideas and plans. :) Do some courses. Go for walks that don't have shopping involved.

I will have my own office /work area which is a huge thing. 🙂

I very much dislike being the door person where I work. It's company policy to check receipts, so of course I'm going to ask to see yours.

People have the freedom to say no, but to be rude is another thing. Some of us are getting paid minimum wage and don't want to lose our jobs because we didn't do what the company wants us to do. Fuck capitalism and fuck entitled people.

Absolutely fuck this 88% humidity, wtf. Literally woke up from all the sweat

Lentish is going good for me. Sugar cravings are out of my system and the bread obsession is waning dramatically. I do have the occasional wholemeal or multigrain toast but atleast I'm not consuming bread products daily. Crumpets, English muffins, pizza (breads delicious cousins) have been eliminated entirely. First week and a bit was hard and I succumbed a few times to the local bakery bread but now it's smooth sailing.

I feel good. A bit tired but good.

After telling myself I'd have an early night, I ended up making a breakthrough on website styles. So instead of staying up trying to figure out how to change a button, I was up doing all this formatting work I'd been stuck on for the first half of the week.

Opps, got distracted watching youtube videos, must finish this work so I can get out of here

Got my cannabis script yesterday, did a bit of a wake n' bake this morning.

Boy howdy was I not ready. Been using some weed gifted to me from a friend and it was fine...but this clinical shit is on a different level.

Thankfully I tried the Sativa strain which is a decently energizing buzz....

AC Shadows Initial Reactions after 4 hours of play.

Big world, but doesn't feel too big.

Characters are interesting enough.

Cool little side quests and things.

Story is pretty cliche, but we'll see what happens.

Parkour is smooth and feels a bit more real than the previous ones.

Combat is more challenging than previously. You can see they tried emulating Ghost of Tsushima, but fell short. Not a criticism as GoT had some of the best combat I've every played.

So far enjoying it.

wow I've had a few tonight after an awesome work event (love that these guys are so much more sociable with our client). Pretty tipsy but this is the good thing about having easy PT close to home. Everyone looks pretty attractive through these wine goggles.

Gonna catch up on the Severence finale shortly and maybe The Pitt and then catch up with an old school friend Sat night and Sun. ☺️ Times like today I feel a bit like less of a loser and more of a part of Melbourne

It's so quiet at work today. I love it.

Coffee grinder is packed and ready to go to its new home. Washing is on. Overgrown terrarium got a bit of a clean up. Next up is a trip to the post office and free food market, then the afternoon is free for who knows what.
