What are the advantages and disadvantages of that design, specifically.

I imagine that it would be good for surmounting big hills of sand.

The ground clearance seems slim, but maybe that's just the angle.

This is very much an aesthetic build. They started with the tires and built everything around them, not knowing if it would even work at all.

It's turned out to be surprisingly stable and rideable. In the video this screenshot came from; Ethans able to basically lay the bike entirely on its side, then stand it back up again with just a bit of throttle.

The new build is going to be even better:
