Man I should really finish Divinity Original Sin 2. I get to the end of rpgs and just never complete then, I'm unsure why.
The Gamer's Tavern
Welcome
Hey gamer, there you are! Already back from your adventures? Grab a chair and sit by the fireplace!
This is the Gamer's Tavern, a cozy place where you can rest and have fun with others gamers. This community main goal is to provide gamers a place to keep in touch, discuss about games and play together
Community
If you're looking for a friendly and cozy community to join, The Gamer's Tavern Discord server and our Matrix space is what you need to get in contact with other gamers. We often play together in dedicated night in various games, such as Sea of Thieves, Void Crew, Farming Simulator 22, etc. Matrix and Discord are mirrored, so a post done on a platform will appear on the other and viceversa!
The Fediverse approach
The Gamer's Tavern chooses to fully embrace the Fediverse, using only free social medias and avoiding to squeeze its viewer for money.

Rules
Respect others
It's fun to make fun of yourself when it's a game for both sides. Do not exaggerate or touch on sensitive topics that can easily offend the other person (religious, sexual orientation, etc.)
No toxicity
It makes no sense to be here with the sole purpose of insulting others and being toxic
Respect the netiquette
Respect the sacred principles of netiquette as much as possible
General rules
Follow the rules of Lemmy.world
The build up is more rewarding then the crescendo
The exploring and discovery is intoxicating... The end of the rpg feels more on rails, no more choices, just do the thing
@RebekahWSD I've seen me losing interest in the RPG at the end or halfway more than a few times due to accumulated fatigue (game too long, too hard, too whatever), so might this should be your reason too?
Or could it be that the game is so good you don't want to say goodbye to the characters?
It's likely fatigue with a lot of me liking making characters more than playing them, haha!
That's why I love the open world ones. I've been playing Elder Scrolls games since arena and daggerfall and not once have I bothered with the main quest. I just loved getting lost. I have enough "do the things" quests in real life, I want to go into an unexpected wilderness with an imagination and just..play.
@innkeeper @the_gamer_tavern yep, rookie mistake I made with my BG3 storm sorcerer too.
