I did this a few months ago when it was still dark at 6AM. The clock by my bed doesn't say AM or PM, so I woke up, saw that it was "6:00" and was light outside, and was confused for at least a minute thinking the time had changed, or something I couldn't explain.

I used to work early god aweful mornings and woke up late at 6am. Busted my ass getting to work cuz i was supposed to be there at 4am.
Didn't notice the sun was on the other side of the sky until i was walking home humiliated and still hung over.
I had a very similar experience, except I wasn’t hungover and at the time still lived with my parents/siblings, so I was stopped when I got downstairs and saw them getting ready for dinner. It was a time of year when the light was pretty similar at 6 AM or PM, which made it more confusing.
Yeah the same light is what confused me so much
