I would really love if folks included the species, when they know it. I have a really hard time telling crows from ravens - and the more examples I see, the better I feel I'll get.

I can't recall ever seeing a raven in person since I started looking for them, although I must have. We had a visitor yesterday who must have been twice the size of the usual crows we get, but neither my wife nor I could distinguish either a beard or the moustache (whatever that's called), so we determined it was just an enormous crow. I think we're in the southern edge of a northern species, so they're definitely not common around where we live.

Anyway, getting flash card training would be nice.
