Big brain tech dude got yet another clueless take over at HackerNews etc? Here's the place to vent. Orange site, VC foolishness, all welcome.

TranscriptA news.ycombinator.com screenshot. It has two comments. The first reads: "I told ChatGPT my mom's name the day my account got persistent memory, last april. I also told it to figure out my dad's name. Once a month or so I would ask it my mom and dad's name. By november it had figured out my dad's name. https://x.com/kenwarner/status/1859637611595214888" It has a reply saying "Unfortunately I feel like the fact that your dad's name is the same as yours somewhat diminishes that accomplishment.".

Wait - the dude’s his own dad? That’s fucked up.

I rolled the dice once a day every day for 8 months and then I finally rolled a 12 which proves the dice can learn. Checkmate atheists.

Assuming two six-sided dice; probability of throwing a 12 is 1 in 36 or just over a month on average. If it took you eight months, it's safe to assume they are sentient and will proceed with murdering shortly

Are you trying to say here that cold readers do not actually communicate with the spirit realm? Where is your open mind?
