I don't understand why more GPUs don't just go with 192 bit memory bandwidths anymore. With fast memory 256 is great, but even with fast memory 128 is pretty dire at higher resolutions. Not only do you get 12 gigs using "normal" sized memory modules, but you get more bandwidth without going all the way up to 256.
Intel did it with the B580 and it scales pretty nicely up to higher resolutions.
So I have 24GB
What's that for now? I don't think I followed along correctly
Please buy a new video card to play at the same old resolution.
