RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world
  5. Keep it clean and SFW
  6. No solicitation such as ads, promotional content, spam, surveys etc.

Got paid so bought a couple of ton bags of compost to finally finish filling a polytunnel I got this year. Bit behind schedule for growing so might not be my most productive year but it's all a learning process

The other night I stayed up to an unreasonable hour organising some emulators for my mini PC. Have I ever had an interest in emulation before? Nope. Will I ever have touch half these games? Definitely not. Am I now down a few hundred GB in drive space? Unfortunately yes.

Look at the bright side. Now you can scope out more storage for a steal AND THEN you can download even more games that you’ll never play. Sounds like a win to me…

Used up some crochet squares, to make a bag. Will gift it for someone’s birthday. Also order more yarn for another project. Reminded myself I am my own worst enemy.

Moved house two months ago and still got lots of boxes in the loft. Finally got some recording equipment out and helped my partner record a song.

Got a better understanding of a throw I've been having difficulty with recently.

Martial arts throw.

Finally got to play some Delta Green IRL with my SO. Was pretty fun, especially with the handouts. The palpable expectation when you take out another piece of paper for them to read is just incredible

I've been trying to get a modlist ready for Skyrim. It's taken weeks since I insist of making my own with 1000's of mods.

It's also gotten me interested in making my own mods again. I've been jotting down ideas for magic and perk overhauls whenever I think of something with promise

Planted some veggies, finished crocheting a dice bag, had our last session of a DnD campaign, and became obsessed with Crusader Kings 2.

I went plane spotting yesterday. When I arrived, there was a 1h gap until the next arrival 🥲 I wasn't prepared.
