A total of 60 fetuses with Down syndrome were aborted in 2024 — almost double the number of the 33 such abortions in 2021.

The increase also represents a 15% rise over the 52 abortions of Down syndrome-affected unborn babies in 2023, according to statistics released by Public Health Scotland

It really means nothing without the total amounts of tests done.

Does the writer think those buffers around abortion clinics are bad? I'm not sure what they are trying to say with that section. We've seen what happens in places like the united states why those buffers are necessary.

Yes, the headline specifying abortion "of unborn babies" suggests they're angry at women's healthcare.
