Can no longer go 'back' to feed from inbox (discuss.tchncs.de)

When entering the inbox from mid-feed on android, it seems like you can no longer swipe or use the back button to go back to where you were in the feed. Pressing the back button now does nothing, and i have to reselect the feed view in the sidebar, which resets my position in the feed. This is quite annoying when I've already scrolled past a number of posts and see that I've received a message, since i know that reading or responding to it means I'll have to reset my feed from the beginning. Love this app so much though and appreciate everything you do.

The back swipe still takes me to the previous screen. Maybe it has something to do with your user settings?

Thats weird, which android version are you on? Im on a samsung s20 android 13 oneui 5.1. Does the back button bring you to the previous screen as well? I didnt change any user settings prior to this happening, it happened with an update of the app a few weeks ago.

Also this is only on the inbox, the back swipe works for everything else.

This was an issue in v1.0.269. It has been fixed so you just need to update the app. You may need to join the beta if you don't see an update option. Joining the beta can be done on the Play Store or App Store of your device.

Yeah thats the problem then, i am on 1.0.269 but i also joined the beta and don't have any option to update.

After you opt to join, the prompt window in the Play Store mentions it takes some time to get enrolled. Usually it's a couple of minutes but sometimes it takes a few hours.

Google Pixel 6 pro, android 15. Quite different!

I don't have a back button, I only use swipe gestures.

What version is this happening on? Latest should be v275

I was on 1.0.269 and didn't have any option to update, however someone else reccomended joining the beta and that worked, I'm on .275 now
